Abstract Submission

"In Pursuit of Luxury" intends to expand the parameters of the debate around the concepts of luxury to provide a refreshing context to construe the familiar debates surrounding the subject

The conference sets out to examine the nature of Luxury in all its forms and to explore the meaning of the term from a cultural, historical, commercial and industrial perspective. Abstracts for papers of no more than 500 words are sought from those scholars and professionals working in the fields of business, commerce and branding; economic history, sociology, media and cultural studies, and European and non-European history. Submissions on the history, culture and economics of emerging economies are particularly welcome.
